How We’ll Work Together

Before I can be an effective partner, I need to know and understand your business or situation.  I like to get as much information as possible, even before considering options for your project.  I ask everyone to complete a Website Worksheet and make sure we’re connected on LinkedIn.  I give my professional network priority consideration and support, so if we’re not connected, ask a mutual contact for an introduction.

If you’re just trying to get your head around a new website project, or you have big plans for redeveloping an old website, it’s best that I meet you and go through a Website Accelerator Session.  In this session, we’ll create a clear vision for your ultimate success online, uncover hidden challenges you might not be aware of, and develop a Website Strategic Blueprint to get you the results you want.  At that point, we can decide if we’re a good fit to work together.  It’s a lot like dating, isn’t it?

When we work together on developing your project, it is a collaboration.  There are a few things I’ll ask of you that help me do what I need to do.  I can’t make every decision for you, but I’ll always give you the options and insight you need to make informed choices.

And speaking of that, I don’t really care for taking orders or being told what to do and how to do it.  I bet you don’t either.  You’re an expert at what you do, and I am with what I do.  That’s why you want to work together, right?

When your website launches, our relationship isn’t over.  We can still be friends, right?  I’m still interested in seeing you succeed online.  I’ll monitor the website for a couple of months and make sure everything is working for you.  Sometimes we have to revise things to make it more effective.  Sometimes you discover you want a new feature or tool.  That’s great!  There are lots of ways to keep me involved, whether on a regular basis or as the need arises.
